Scarborough Centre and the McCowan–Ellesmere corridor are tower territory, where the loading bay instructions and elevator booking window decide the day. Malvern and Woburn are home to older apartment complexes — some without a dedicated freight elevator — where carry distance through outdoor walkways and building corridors is as important as the item count. Guildwood, West Hill, and the Kingston Road corridor mean detached houses, many with backsplit or split-level layouts where the basement exit is the tightest point of the move.
We travel from Markham via Highway 404 south. Agincourt is one of the shorter drives; Kingston Road and West Hill near the Bluffs involve more surface road. Agincourt & Milliken
Northwest Scarborough against the Markham boundary — a dense mix of condos, townhouses, and detached homes along Sheppard, Midland, and Kennedy. This is the closest Scarborough area to our Markham yard. Condo moves need service elevator bookings; houses should include photos of the driveway approach and any entrance steps.
Scarborough Centre & McCowan–Ellesmere
The main tower cluster around Scarborough Town Centre. Service elevator slots, loading bay vehicle limits, and whether above-ground or underground loading is permitted are the first three questions for any tower here. The correct truck entrance is often on a different street from the building lobby.
Malvern & Morningside
Northeast Scarborough with large apartment complexes and low-rise buildings, many built in the 1970s–80s without a dedicated freight elevator. Confirm whether the building uses a passenger elevator for moves (often requiring a full-floor pad booking) and whether there are specific move-in hours.
Woburn & Ionview
Rental apartment towers and older detached homes mixed throughout. For apartment moves, the path from unit to truck often includes outdoor walkways or long interior corridors — measure this carry distance, not just the room count. For house moves, check whether the driveway allows the truck close to the front door.
Guildwood & West Hill
