The residential half — Woodbridge, Maple, Concord, and Kleinburg — means houses and townhouses where the total furniture volume, the number of floors, garage inventory, and driveway access drive the crew size and truck choice. A Kleinburg estate with a long winding driveway, a Woodbridge detached home with a full basement, and a Maple rear-lane townhouse are each their own problem. The condo half — Vaughan Metropolitan Centre — is a newer transit-oriented district where service elevator bookings, loading bay clearances, and building-specific move-in rules are the first things to confirm, not the room count.
We dispatch from Markham, east of Vaughan. Most Vaughan destinations are reached via Highway 400 or Highway 407, and the 407 is a toll road — the route and any associated charges are confirmed with the quote rather than assumed. Woodbridge

Confirm the service elevator window and the correct truck entrance — the loading bay is usually on a different street or level from the resident lobby.
Kleinburg
The village area and its surrounding estate properties north of Major Mackenzie Drive. Long private driveways, gated entrances, and heavily treed approaches can limit which truck size reaches the front door. Send a wide-angle photo of the driveway and its connection to the road — a large home does not automatically mean suitable truck access, and a ramp or relay may be needed.
Concord & Thornhill (Vaughan)
South Vaughan along Highway 7 and Dufferin Street, with a mix of older rental apartments, townhouse complexes, and detached homes. For apartment buildings, confirm whether a freight elevator exists and whether the loading entrance is off the main road or a service lane. Homes here are typically well-appointed with higher furniture volume and frequent disassembly needs. Rear-entry garages are common — clarify whether staging can use the garage floor and whether the truck can approach from the lane.

- Vaughan Metropolitan Centre towers: ask management for the service elevator window, loading bay vehicle-height and length limits, and whether the truck entrance is on a separate street from the lobby. Do not direct the truck to a visitor parking area — it is not an approved loading position.
- Woodbridge and Maple houses: confirm that street parking or driveway access is available for the truck size you need. Vaughan's parking enforcement applies to commercial vehicles on residential streets; check current guidance and signs rather than assuming unrestricted access.
- Kleinburg and estate properties: photograph the complete driveway approach from the road — slope, width, turn radius, and any overhead obstructions. A 26 ft truck that cannot reach the entrance forces a longer carry or multiple relay trips, both of which affect the time estimate significantly.
- Rear-lane townhouses in Maple and Patterson: confirm whether the truck can enter the lane or must park on the front street. The distance from the truck to the unit entrance — front street versus rear lane — is one of the biggest variables in how long a townhouse move takes.
